Has anyone ever experienced pain during sex and your doctor brushes it off?

I have had two doctors tell me it was no big deal and one told me it was probably constipation or something when my pap came back clear. (one doctor before i was pregnant) This has been going on for like 2 years. What could it be b/c it's def not my imagination. why don't doctors listen to you?!? ahh!
