Having, People, Want, Come, same, doesn't, realationships

Question by van: How come God does'nt want people having same sex realationships?

Ok first off let me say I dont support same sex relationships not only for religious reasons but also b/c I'v always found it gross but how come God does not want people to have it? Like what are the reasons?
Other then it being discusting, why is it a sin to have same sex relationships?

God knows what is best for the men and women He created. I know it is an old reasoning but in the Garden it was "male and female."
just because homosexuality is a popular "lifestyle" (it is neither life promoting, and it is still a minority), does not mean it is OK.
It is a "life" of shame, illness, and is unfulfilling. It brings pain to those given to it.
I do not condemn or judge homosexuals, but it is not acceptable to God, who created life, and sex, and designed proper relationships.
If a family member, say, my daughter, were to begin down that road, I would be quite sad, and do everything I could to help her make a better choice.
